High Alumina Bauxite also called bauxite aggregate,its composition is very complex,and the general term of Hydrous Alumina Ore with different geological origin. Such as boehmite, diaspore and gibbsite (Al2O3 - 3H2O); some are diaspore and kaolinite (2SiO2 Al2O3 2H2O) Company; some kaolinite, and with the increase of the content of kaolinite, which is generally the bauxite or kaolinite clay. Bauxite is usually formed by chemical weathering or exogenic action. There are few pure minerals and always contain some foreign minerals, which contain more or less clay minerals, iron minerals, titanium minerals and detrital heavy minerals.

 

 

 

Application:

 

• Refractory applications remain the premiere non-metal market for calcined bauxite which is mixed with binders and pressed, extruded, cast and shaped into a variety of forms that are then dried and transfered to kilns for firing. The calcined refractory grade bauxite is also used in unfired monolithic refractories.

  It should be noted that another source of materials suitable for refractory use is the calcined bauxite used to produce brown fused alumina, which has higher mechanical and chemical corrosion resistance than other high alumina refractory raw materials.
